Hello,

I thought I'd fully open up to you about myself and explain a little more about how Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC came about and what to expect if you decided to join our Your Time community. I know how hard it can be to walk through the door for the first time and I want that first step to feel a little less daunting.

My name is Theresa, and I am the founder of Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC which is a small non-profit community company that run well-being, body confidence and weight loss sessions in Hucknall Nottinghamshire.

I am in my late 50s, menopausal and also have the added challenges of long COVID, as well as the aches and pains that come with not being in my 20s any longer. Mother of 2 grown up children one of whom is autistic and Gran to a lovely Granddaughter.

I have also had a very fractured relationship with myself and my body for as long as I can remember. My weight has fluctuated since my mid-teens and I have tried almost every diet out there just to be a certain size. I even had a career for 6 years as a Weight Watchers coach after losing 81/2 stone running 10 meetings a week around the Nottinghamshire area .I was still not in a good place mentally, as the on/off diet culture I was on had not taught me how to deal with what was actually happening in my mind and that needed to be addressed.

The scales ruled my life and I felt a failure.

I had a total nervous breakdown and became a prisoner of my home for the next 16 years struggling back to mental wellness learning my own steps to a New me! The scales no longer told me my worth in life. I returned to work during Covid in retail and became the strongest version of myself that I had ever been with the tools I had learned along the way.  I always lead with my heart in my life and helping others and community is also a high priority. I took food to the food bank during lockdowns helped by donations from family and friends and came out of what was a devastating time for us all with a passion to continue to help others heal their relationship with themselves and continue to help my community.

I emerged stronger than I have ever been mentally in the BEST place I had been in my life!

So Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC was born in Sept 2021 and the ethos of Your Time is to help you believe in yourself and that if you truly want it anything is possible. Whatever that is, whether it's to improve your well-being, lose weight more sustainably, feel more body confident or find a supportive community that really cares. At Your Time you will find a different approach, one that makes you lead the way in Your own life and learn to not blame outside forces, become happier and truly live a more fulfilled life.

We have scales and I can weigh you and give you advice, but do not expect a slimming club or diet culture. Our priority is changing your mindset about how to grab hold of your life and get what you really want from it if you only open up and do the work to get it.

We, as a community are there to support you every step of the way.

I will gently guide you to be the best version of yourself.

I run 2 weekly support groups and also a free well-being walk for members on a Sunday. We also, when funding allows do taster sessions of mental and physical activities and Free trips further afield.
